"Why do you say that like it's a bad thing? What do you mean by someone like you? There's absolutely nothing ugly about you… you're amazing, Ari. You're considerate, attentive, kind and weird and you have a really beautiful smile.. it makes my heart flutter every time… but you rarely smile and I want to change that. I'll make you happy so you smile more."
I couldn't help my smile even though I doubted his sincerity, it felt so nice hearing words that aren't punitive and insulting.
"Uhmmm…" I nervously wrung my fingers. "I real- ahh- I- giv- please give me some time to-" I was rudely interrupted when someone suddenly grabbed my forearm and forcefully pulled me all the way to the lockerrooms.
