Blood Moon Tells All

Chapter7

“Are those the shackles that you were saying?” My brother asked.

He got a very shocked nod from me and a panicked look at my sister-in-law. Before we could all move, we heard a laugh of pure joy. As we looked out the window, I saw the goddess of beauty. Light showed out of her skin like she had a moon hiding in her skin.

Getting up to go touch my beautiful mate. My brother held me in place I went to growl at him. He made me look at my Luna. They are both glowing as bright as the moon goddess herself. Alpha Jason looked like he was going to faint. That’s when I felt the power explode. Out of my mate and we both went down. My brother was the only one standing other than Ash.

“What is happening?” Raffie asked Ash, since she was standing with him.

“She is finally accepting her true heritage. Her blood line.” She replied with a sense of wonderment in her voice.

Raffie

“What do you mean she is accepting her true heritage?” with a panicked voice.

“Well, the shackles are finally off. So, all that power she had when you first met her was only half. These are known as power limiters or if a fae was, shacked with it would have made the fae into mindless slaves. Only the dark witches that have dark powers can take the shackles on and off,” Ash said to me. That’s when I realized she has not just light power but a dark power too.

“So, when will they be able to come back to themselves?” I asked again with worry in my voice.

I turned when I heard my brother coughing so I went to pick him up off the ground.

“Damn, my mate is powerful,” he said and leaned against me.

“What happened?” I asked.

“It was like I got hit by light magic. You know the kind mom did when we did things we were not supposed to do?” he replied, and I shuddered. That’s when I noticed the luna and alpha getting up and shaking something unseen off.

“She’s gone…she ran away” Luna said, and the Alpha agreed, and then my brothers’ eyes looked like he had stars in his eyes.

“It’s her first true run as a merged wolf. She is so happy.” He said and ran off to meet up with his mate. I looked at the Alpha with questions racing through my head.

Shaking his head as we all went inside her house to be teleported back to the pack house. As we step on the pentagram, I heard was the Alpha say beam me up scotty, and everything went black. Next thing I know is that it was in an office with muted grey and white colors and a black walnut desk. I looked down and got a trash can shoved in my arms seconds before I puked. Groaning as I sat down and a sheepish look on the Alphas Jason face.

“I’m sorry Raffie, but it’s the safest and fastest route here. My wife and child love teleporting from place to place. Unless I insist it is done the old-fashioned way, they just poof in and poof out. It made life interesting.” Alpha Jason said as the nauseousness passed.

“Here, uncle, drink this and you will feel better faster.” Ash said and handed me a purple drink.

“Thank you, niece.” I said and downed it in two gulps. Making a face that clearly says bitter and sour is not a good combination. She leaves to go do whatever she goes, looking up to Alpha Jason and his wife.

“Now that has passed, we can get to business. I wanted to talk to you about the attack that happened at the school that Ash went to. This pack of rivals or rogues tried to kill or kidnap her. She hid under her dead high school friends.” Jason said, and shuffled paperwork around.

“So that’s what happened. When the news aired, it was said that a weird gas leak and a stray spark exploded on the inside of the bus. No survivors.” I said and looked at him concerned.

“The other thing we have to work with is what they said out loud when Ash was hiding. The mystery wolf said he would not stop until he had my head. It could be one of many enemies that I have.” Sighing, “another thing is many more wolves don’t want to be allies with me, one because I have a half breed as my wife. The other reason is that I have a very powerful sister-in-law that can level a forest with a glare.”

“Well, with our sister-in-law, my brother has his hands full, but I understand when they find out my powerful brother is mated to her my pack will be targeted if it hasn’t already. Just so you understand while I’m here, if something goes wrong, like if my pack is under attack, they will all be moving to your borders.” I said.

“Understood I will have my guards notified. Now most of the business is done at my end. What do you want to do? I have a room made for you and there will be a ceremony for Shonna coming back into the pack as the pack witch, and mate to our beta. If you want, you can send word and move your whole pack over for the celebration and training. Maybe find yourself a mate?” Jason said the last with a wiggle of his eyebrows. Standing and smiling, I shook my head and shook his hand in agreement. Then I flashed out of the room, using the speed of a lighting strike to go back to my pack.

“You know, with that flashy power, you would think he would have a stomach of teleporting.” Sky said and smiled at the fact that her family was growing again.

Getting up to rub her belly, so happy to be given another pup. I kiss her silly then whisk her off to bed.

Shonna

“Snow do you feel this?” I asked her as we ran through the woods. Smelling things we could not smell before. When we heard some more rhythmic beats behind us, and mate was all we thought. As we turned around and tackled him to the ground.

“Snow I’m Maximilian or Max for short.” Rex’s wolf said to me through our mate bond.

“So let's mate and enjoy ourselves since Shonna and I are finally whole,” Snow said back with a growl and a flip of a tail. We took off running and Max was fast and was keeping up.

“Show off” Max growled as he bit my neck and pined at us.

Hours go by and we finally collapse when getting back to the house and collapse from exhaustion as our wolf forms give way to our human forms as we try to walk and crawl up to the bedroom. To sleep a long and deep sleep.
