"I don't think you can wipe his smile off this way." The lady smiled at me. I was so embarrassed. Someone had heard me saying such.
"I... I didn't mean it that way." I said to her, but she burst into laughter. She walked towards the coffee machine and lifted the lid. "I understand. I've also been there." She said to me, but I just stared at her.
I don't think I've seen her on this floor since I came. She also noticed my confusion. "I used to work as the CEO's secretary."
I nodded but remembered the CEO doesn't have a secretary anymore, and all my duties seem to relate to that of a secretary. That means I was given her job. I stared at her as she made her coffee. She doesn't even look bothered. Perhaps she does.
