Chapter 13 I huddle on the swinging bench on the back porch, decompressing. My head is spinning from everything Oz and Reese filled me in on. I’ve missed a ton, thanks to the spell and subsequent blackouts. Another summer storm moves in and a cool breeze caresses my skin, making me shiver and sending goosebumps down my arms. I snuggle deeper under the throw blanket, grateful to be clean and dry. “Mind if I sit with you?” asks Edric. “Not at all.
