“I should have let you drown.” As I cough and try to catch my breath, Seth paces the marble floor, too close for comfort. I’ll be ready to move this time. But I’m not ready when he grabs my hair and pulls me to my feet. He’s a giant of a man and my head is well below his shoulders. He yanks my head back and presses a knife to my throat.
