"How could you?" She shouts at her sister. "How could you do this to me? I am your sister." She says I can feel her tremble through the mate bond.
"Your ex-fiance came to me, saying you have found your mate. He said you were kidn*pped from your ball. We were here to get your wedding back on." She pauses as she looks at my mark," And to kill the dragons on this island, but now that you are a traitor we will kill you with them." I can feel my mate's disappointment. The shock on my face as I take in this information.
A sharp pain in my shoulder then our mind link is gone. "Natalina," I shout into the mate bond, and my heart drops to my stomach.
"Nataline!" I try again.
"What's going on?" Baylor asks, her worried face matches mine.
