Chapter 5 - Thief

Lily thinks of something to say, but she just smiles in an embarrassed way. Not used to get caught on her sneaky beahvior she didn't have any good answer.

- Well, come on, get in. Can I get you a tea?

- I don't want to bother you, I should get home anyway...

- Well you already did, or do you think snooping around is something not to be bothered about? - Haven interrupted her.

"Miss Haven is not very friendly, or she is attacking me personnally?" Lily questioned herself. The woman was not very tall, Lily was almost as tall as her but she was really intimidating.

- I just want to know what you think about this. Would you like to have someone following you to your home and stealing your privacy? - Lily once again feels as if her thoughts are being seen.

- Well, I was just curious, I am just a kid you know? Kids are curious. - She answers and Haven becomes really red and her eyes blaze Lily as if she said an atrocity. She regains her calmness in a few seconds, closing her eyes and opening as she was waking up from a night of deep sleep.

- But you see - she answers very slowly, pausing her words - Kids can be just as dangerous as an adult. Why should I trust you? Maybe you are a thief - Haven makes an expression of debauchery but Lily couldn't decipher that - Or even worse. We never know these days... - She looks at Lily with a serious face, waiting for her answer.
