It was just a note.
I opened the note, and my vision went dark.
“Take care of each other, and we will do the same. Goodbye.”
What? She’s gone? Fury took over, I tore open her closet—empty. The bathroom—her toothbrush missing. Even the framed photo of her with her parents was gone from her bedside table.
Within seconds, I snarled orders at the betas.
"Find her!"
Did she really leave? It was impossible. Freesia would never leave me. I mean, she loved me. She’s loved me since she was seventeen…no, even earlier than that. She might have been hurting, sure, but there’s no way she’d abandon the pack. She’d never abandon me.
Wait... Didn't she say she was going to that damn university? She was probably just heading there early to report in.
