Chapter Fifteen The drive to the commune was quiet. Porco expected to feel differently now that he was married. But he didn't. He felt the same as he had after the first moment he saw Jules. The same hum of energy skittered across the underside of his forearm, over the pulsing of the veins of his wrist to land in the palm of his hand. The same trickle of warmth pooled in the palm of his hand and radiated out to zing back up his arm and to his chest.
