Dex parked to the side of the fire station. Mason stared up at the large building and wondered if their plan was going to work.
“Do you think they’ll actually hand over information about these people?” Mason asked.
Dex shrugged. “There’s only one way to find out. Let’s go.”
They walked inside the station and up to the desk. Instead of finding the firefighters outside, they had to request to speak to Allen and Wright. Mason didn’t love that, but it was the only way.
The good news was, they knew both men were there.
“They’ll be right down,” the guy behind the desk said. Dex nodded as the man eyed them. Mason could only imagine what someone wondered when they saw him and Dex walk in. Especially when they came in asking for not just one but two firefighters.
