Sophie
A car is driveing through the woods. In the car is a young woman, in her 20s, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She looks very fragile. Her eyes are red like she was crying all night. She drives throug the forest fast and in no time she is in front of a small house near a lake. In front of the house is a beautiful flower garden. From the drive way to the porch is a stone path with small lights on the side. On the grass and between flowers are hideing gnomes in all sizes with theire animal friends. On the right side of the house is standing a beutiful japanese maple tree with red leaves and in the back yard its a small pond with fish inside, sorounded with flowers of all colours. Its the most beautiful place in the world.
She parked her car in the drive way and ran into the house. She opened the door and went to her room on the 1. flor. She tosed her bag in the corner and lied on the bed. The tears were building up again.
“No! No more crying. She will be ok. We will figure it out.” She tryed to convince her self when her phone rang. She looked on her phone to see who was calling her. It was her dad. She took a deep breath then answered her pohone.
“Yes dad? Is everythink ok?
On the other side there was a voice of a man that was very tired and sad. “Hey Sophie. Where are you? I thought that you will be waithing for me at home.
“Im sorry dad. Im really sorry.” And the tears started to fall again. “I needed to go and clear my head. Im at the lake house. I will be back tomorrow. Its just to much daddy.”
“Oh pumpkin. Dont cry. We will figure it out. We always had. And you know your mother is strong. She will not give up so easily.” He tried to cheer her up.
“I know, i know! Its just so hard to see her like that. And i cant stand to see her in so much pain. Even if shes not showing it. I can see it in her eyes. ” she broke down and cried.
They talk a little bit then said theire goodbeyes. She was fealing a little better now. So she got up and went to the kitchen to make her self a cup of coffee. It was getting dark. She took her coffee and her favorite blanket and went to sit on the porch. She drank her coffee, watching the lake as the sun went down. The lights on the path way went on and the fireflies came out. She admired this place and as she sat there, She eventually fall asleep.
* Dreaming *
Deep in the forest, there was a clearing. It was sourounded with beautiful white flowers. In the middle of the clearing was a small tree with a flat roch in front. On the flat rock was her favorite blanket.
“My favorite blanket. And this place, it looks familiar. Was i here before?” She sat on the blanket and watched the stars above. “Oh i know. I jused to came here when i was little. It was my safe place when i needed it.” She loved it here. It was always so peaceful here. But then she heard a noise comming from the forest. She looked in that direction and saw a big brown wolf with green eyes. It was much bigger as a normal wolf. His furr was beautiful and his big green eyes looked so happy to see her. He did not enter the clearing. It was like there was a berier sorounding her. She looked in his eyes and all she could hear in that moment was: “mate!”
She woke up the next morning and couldnt stop thinking about her dream. It felt so real. And that wolf, could it be that i have seen it before? She got up of the bed and dressed herself before she went to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and combed her hair and put it in a ponytail.
“Im hungry.” She mumbled to her self and went to the kitchen to make her self something to eat. She picked up her phone and saw a text message from her father.
~ Hey pumpkin! I hope you sleept well. I wanted you to know thath youre mother will have surgery today, so you dont need to hurry back. They will take her with a helicopter to the hospital where they will take care of her. So take your time out there. And i hope to see you soon! Love, dad. ~
She was happy that her mother will get the much needed operation today. That means she will have a greather chance of a full recovery. She took her food outside on the porch and eat her sandwiches while she was watching the lake. She was feeling much better then yeasterday. Like a big rock was lifted from her heart.
The sun was up and shining through the trees. It was a beautiful morning. But something puled her eyes in the direction in to the forest where she jused to go as a kid. To the clearing in the woods. It was not far but still. Something was telling her to go. She stood up and went inside to put on her shoes.
