Zephyr's POV
I felt at ease this morning. I know that it was because I had spent the night with Aurora in the same room. Everyone had woken up lighter than we had slept and such Aurora out of our chambers so she could go to school.
Heading to the school library, all I could think about was the look on Aurora's face when I handed the books I was picking out to her. Rowan had asked to follow me but I had refused, seeing that I wanted this to be something special I did for her.
We had all been mean to her in the past, but, with the recent development, I doubted if any of us still held that hate in our hearts. I was so distracted by what I was doing that I did not see the tiny figure that suddenly appeared in front of me until it was too late.
