Aurora’s POV
As soon as we were out of the crowd, Jake dropped me on the floor and I sighed, I looked at my wet clothes and I couldn’t believe what happened, I was tired and drained, and I only had Jake to thank for saving me, I never learned how to swim and I know they would have watched me die in that water if he hadn’t jumped in and safe me in time.
“Are you okay? I’m sorry about what happened,” Jake said and I smiled. I coughed up the remaining water in my chest and I breathed out deeply.
“Thank you so much for saving me, I don’t know what I would have done if you didn’t come in time,” I said and Jake smiled faintly
“You don’t have to, I didn’t do anything. I only did what everyone would have done,” he shrugged and I shook my head.
