Hunter’s POV
I was sitting in the car, lost in thought when Phoenix's question pierced the air. "Is that not Dad talking to Aurora?" My ears perked up, and I knew immediately that Aurora was in trouble.
“Are you sure?” I asked
“Of course, there is no day I will see Father without knowing he is the one,” Phoenix replied and my heart skipped a beat.
If Dad saw her getting out of our car, he would lose it. I couldn't just sit there and do nothing. I had to act fast.
Without thinking, I jumped out of the car, my brothers calling after me. "Hunter, wait!" But I didn't look back. I kept walking, my heart racing, wild thoughts were running through my head as I couldn’t help but think about the things my father might do to her.
My brothers caught up to me, and we arrived at Dad's office
