Aurora’s POV
I trudged into the kitchen, my heart heavy with the weight of the previous day's events. My eyes felt sore from lack of sleep, and my body ached with a dull pain that seemed to permeate every cell. I had intended to meet Tonia and apologize for what had happened, but now I wasn't so sure.
I knew her anger was justified but that doesn’t mean she should completely stop talking to me, her friendship means a lot to me and I can’t even imagine losing her, I thought about several ways I could make it up to her in school today and each time my head is blank.
I sighed and I reached for a piece of toast, one of the maids approached me with a tray of food. "Aurora, can you take this to Alpha Stone's room?" she asked, her voice neutral.
