Aurora's POV
Hunter was taking much time in the room, so Zephyr went to fetch him and they both came outside minutes later.
“What took you so long?” Phoenix asked, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he just kept on looking at me like I had done something wrong.
“Uhm, why are you looking at me like that?” I stammered, his hands extended forward, and then I saw Gemma's bracelet in his hands.
“Oh! That's Gemma's, thank you.” I reached out and grabbed it from him, and a smile played at the corners of his lips.
“I must have dropped it on my way out,” I said, tucking it away in my backpack.
