Aurora’s POV
I lay in bed, my mind racing with the events of the day. The broken jar, the Thorn brothers' rescue, and the revelation in Alpha Stone's office swirled together in a jumbled mess. I couldn't shake off the feeling of foolishness and thoughtlessness that lingered long after the danger had passed.
"How could I have been so careless?" I berated myself, tossing and turning in bed. The darkness of the room seemed to close in around me, echoing my inner turmoil.
My thoughts drifted back to the store room where I was being careless and breaking the jar, I should have known better, Alpha Stone doesn’t play with his collections and for once I thought I was going to lose my life for good.
