Aurora's POV
When I opened my eyes to the soft light streaming in through the curtains, I saw that Hunter was still next to me, his arm draped possessively over my waist. His steady breathing told me he was still fast asleep, and for a moment, I felt a wave of affection wash over me. As much as I loved him, I had to get up for school. I shifted slowly, trying not to wake him, but his grip tightened the moment I moved.
"Where do you think you're going?" Hunter’s voice was low, still thick with sleep, and he pulled me back into his arms, nuzzling his face against the back of my neck.
I couldn’t help but smile. "I have to go to school, Hunter. I have a test today."
