Hunter's question hung in the air. I was so lost in what I was thinking that I didn't know when I blurted out a reply. “ It clearly says that our father was the beta to Aurora's dad, which makes Aurora the alpha,” I said, choking on the last few words.
“No, there must be a mistake somewhere,” Hunter replied, his eyes darting across the study.
