Ana had been stood on the safe side of the two way mirror for 2 days watching the male who was asleep in the bed not even 10 feet away from her. He had been unconscious. No doubt her blood and his own had been working hard to regenerate the lost blood, strength and healing. She had stood there for hours willing him to wake up inside her head as if her word was law and his life depended on it for him to obey. She had become somewhat protective of the male since she found him, guarding him. She hadn't even left him with raph.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear," she said as Raphael and his two guards stepped into the room. "Me, the devil? I'm flattered." He said as he walked to her side and turn to face the same window. "His heartbeat is increasing, his body's waking up," he said. As if perfectly on cue, she saw the male stir and raise his hand to cover the blinding light from his eyes and sit up.
"And what, you didn't trust me to interrogate him myself?" she said turning to look at him with a raised brow. He didn't look back just simply watched the male get up and walk to the two-way mirror. When Ana looked back at the window, her heart stopped.
He stood there staring straight at her, Or it felt like he was. He had the most...Beautiful, golden-amber eyes. As if the sun had blessed him with them herself. Ana's arms dropped from the folded position over the top of her chest and fell to her side. She was frozen. This had only happened once before, with Alexander. "Look who's awake." she heard Raphael say from beside her.
She watched as the male tore his eyes from his reflection and looked up and around the room at the speakers. "Who are you?" he'd say. Gods his voice. It made her heart beat faster, her legs quiver. It was masculine, authoritative. She found herself biting her lip.
" A friend of a friend you could say, how do you feel?" Raph asked him, curious. He didn't really care. The males head turnt and looked straight at the mirror. She knew instantly those stunning eyes were looking for her. "Better than I should," he said. His eyes unmoving.
"Well, Aiyana here is the one to thank." raph said. "I'd very much like to thank her in person," he said in response, his eyes shifting back and forth from the door to the 2-way mirror. "All in due time. I'd like to know she would be safe if she entered. Tell me. What is your name?" Raphael asked.
The male pinched the bridge of his nose, looking rather frustrated. "My name is Riot Hades. The eldest son of Remus Hades, King of the Litha moon pack," A werewolf then. She said to herself as she answered her own question from when she cut the chain from his neck.
Riot Hades. Why did she love the name? A prince, An Alphas descendant.
When the door to his cell clicked and Raphael and his dweebs entered she looked beside her and realised he had gone. Had she been that much in a trance? "My name is Raphael Garcia, you're currently in my home in Brooklyn, New York. Ana brought you here after she found you. She wished to take you to her own home but... I advised against it. I need to know she isn't going to come to any harm under your hand. However given your Alpha Remus's son, Prince Riot, I think you are of no threat to her." Raph said.
With that she shifted her footing, She wanted to see the Alpha. The prince. Riot. She had quietly stepped in behind Raphael, going unnoticed. She peeked over his shoulder and let her eye drink the male in. He was one hell of a...
His eyes shifted and landed on her. Those beautiful honey yellow eyes. The cold look he had for Raphael shifted instantly to one of a much softer expression. She blinked. She didn't realise she was holding her breath till her lungs screamed for oxygen and she let the breath out she was holding. Her cheeks flushed the lightest pink. She watched him stumble back slightly and suck in a sharp breath.
Then she heard him whisper. "Mine."
