Ana pulled the tight leather material over her soft, slender legs making sure to work the strong material around her thighs and finally her rear. She was getting ready to head to Anaheim to wipe out this nest of rabid vampires. These types of vampires were dangerous because they were brazen, overconfident and stupid. They didn't care about keeping the night world a secret. If the humans found out about the creatures of the night Ana could only imagine it equalling to an apocalyptic state. The world gone as we know it. That's why she fought to keep herself and others hidden. She stood up and slipped a plain short sleeves shirt over her head, fixing the hem down by her waist. She then strapped 2 pistols holsters to her thighs and fastened it with a clip around her waist. Finally, she would pull on her black military boots and chuck on her armoured vest over the top, zipping it up the middle and fastening the velcro.
Walking to her bedside table, she pulled open the draw and pulled her twin Glocks out slipping them into their sheath on her thighs. She then walked over to her wardrobe and pulled out a case. She unclipped the hinges and lifted it open. Inside lay a long steel sword cushioned by firm black foam. The hilt of the sword had a sapphire stone encased in vine-like steel that wound around itself to make the hilt of the sword. The sword itself was folded reinforced steel, it could cut paper. Engraved in the blade was a whole other language, a blessing of sorts. "Excalibur.." she murmured as she fastened the sheath to her back before lifting the sword itself. It made a metallic ringing as the cool air of the night kissed the blade. It was as if the blade was a siren, luring its unknowing victims to the grave.
She lifted the sword and sheathed it behind her on her back. The weight of the weapon on her back made her feel safe. She felt complete. She marched towards her stairs ready to leave the apartment. Her emerald green hues beginning to glow.
She was a predator after all.
