Riot wanted her to decide if she wanted to be with him or not. She felt like it was a stupid question, But it was a very reasonable one. He knew she wasn't wolven and if she didn't want to be with him, then he wouldn't force her to be. He wanted her to be happy. How selfless can one man be? She stared at him as he took a few steps back to give her some space. The feeling of his cool breath on her lips still lingered, her lips tingled in anticipation of touching them. She blinked and looked away from him a moment so she could actually think. She had a Prince, An Alpha. Thee Alpha of the world standing in her home telling her she was his mate, a woman made specifically for that man. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath letting it out as she thought. It wasn't a hard choice. He was the only man in her life who even appealed to her, affected her differently. It was as if his body was a siren when she first saw him and it called to her. She couldn't ignore it. That was real. He was real and he wanted her.
Riot watched her closely, trying to read her, what she was thinking, what she wanted to do. He decided it might be better for him to give her some space and head to a nearby hotel. He had her number after all and she had his. He got up and fixed his clothing before heading to grab hold of his blazer and turning to her, thinking. "I'm going to the nearest hotel and I'll be booking a room there. If you need me, Ana, that's where I'll be." He said as he turnt towards her door and begun walking over. He hadn't expected the small hand to take hold of his forearm tightly. When he half faced the woman with a raised brow, He saw fear in her face. Why?
Ana briskly walked over to the moving Riot and took hold of his arm tightly. She didn't want him to go, Something inside of her screamed to keep him there, Don't let him leave. She was his and he was hers even if she didn't quite believe it. "No." She said sounding rather desperate. She released him and blushed slightly. "I mean, I have a spare room and it'll save you some money. You'll have the entire night world in your business, Besides, you wouldn't be safer anywhere else." She said lifting her chin slightly. She took pride in the fact she was a female bounty hunter, she was lethal in her own way. She had done many jobs others couldn't.
Riot's brow dropped as she spoke about staying with her. Money was never an issue for Riot. He was a Prince. He wasn't exactly weak either, he was only found in captivity due to having his guard down. He was one of the Litha Moon pack's fiercest warriors. She knew that. It was all an excuse to keep him there. She wanted him there. That was a start at least. He nodded his head once and walked over to the coat stand hanging his blazer up. "Show me to my room, Miss Ana." He said warmly. His eyes warming at the sight of her.
