Spoiled Gray And Green In the lobby of the drab monolithic office building that homed Pea Tree Farms, the sunlight was usually plentiful and inviting. “Come outside, play with me!” the front desk secretary sometimes pretended to hear as she stared at the sunbeams bouncing off of the off-white marble floors, happily blinding her as she spaced out and waited for the person to buzz in from outside, or the next phone to ring, or her next and last short break, or best of all, five o’clock so she could leave here for a whole twelve hours.
