And Awful Body Shaming The only thing he remembered from his dream was watching Niles dancing with a mannequin, a topless female dummy, which had a real human leg opposite his prosthetic. The strangeness of it lingered more than the fading visuals of his one-legged neighbor merrily cha-cha-cha’ing with a dusty store front display. Strange, because in the moments where reality came back to him, he remembered bits and pieces from the night before. He remembered seeing Niles smile and laugh and joke with Edith, and he saw her reciprocate those jokes with jokes of her own, matching his laughter as well. In the many years he had been here, he had barely ever seen them interact. Stranger yet than the lingering dream residue was the destruction and chaos about his typically orderly abode. Look
