Chapter Thirteen As Warwick walked up the stairs to the drawing room with Miss Rowan following, his mind flew back and forth between desperately wanting to be alone with her and wondering what in the world he was going to say to her. How should he behave? It was the oddest thing. Never in his life had he been in such a quandary. He’d always known how to behave. He was a duke! And before then, he’d been heir to one.
