☉DANIKA The swords clanged with a very dangerous metallic smell when they connected in the air. Sonia was grinning with all of her teeth as she drew her hand back for another strike. I pulled my sword to my center, allowing my body’s natural instincts to take over and guide me, instead of trying to trace the movement of Sonia’s blade with my eyes. Sonia swung. The metallic tip of her blunted sword whistled as it cleaved the air and came for me.
