Mila As soon as we get to the living room, someone knocks on our door. My grandparents share looks and I can hear their thoughts, “They are here”. Before I know it, I only say “It’s not them, it’s Milo”. Everyone is looking at me. How do I know that? Grandpa gets the door and Milo is standing there. “How did you know?” Derrick asks, in a hushed tone. “Smell. Milo has a unique smell”, I simply tell him. It’s true.
