“Why didn’t we stay?” I ask both adults in the front seats.
“You need to understand that when it comes to arguments between your mother and your grandmother, we should just leave them alone. We NEVER meddle!” Grandpa says.
“They are both stubborn and neither will admit they are wrong. So, we just leave them alone and, eventually, they’ll meet us at Dino’s”, dad explains.
“Eventually? Like, in an hour or two?” I ask.
“Well, there was this time that I had to stay around Dino’s for a couple of days, but nothing more than that”, grandpa says, reminiscing about what happened years ago.
