Devon and I are so angry that we start growling at Derrick’s wolf. I really wanna tear his head off. Before I can make any move, I can see Derrick’s friends shifting and the teenagers who can’t shift yet running away from the cafeteria.
Yup, this is chaos. Dad is so going to kill me.
“He’s not going to kill you if we end his life first. He’s a threat and we know it”, Devon tells me.
“SHIFT BACK! NOW”, Major Knowles orders all wolves in the cafeteria.
When did he arrive? How on earth did he get here so fast? I keep my eyes on Derrick and his friends, waiting for either one of them to make the first move.
Major Knowles screams one more time. This time, there’s something different and it pains Devon not to listen to it.
