What are the odds of us seeing rogues on the first day I shift? Well, apparently, very high.
“Let’s go”, Cesar tells all of us.
He simply nods to the rogues on the other side, and we start making our way down the waterfall.
We hear a loud roar and there’s noise coming from the forest.
“They are coming”, Ellie says. “Protect Mila.”
Suddenly, my family surrounds me in a protective stance, and we wait for the worst. Soon, the whole other side of the waterfall is full of rogues. None of them make a move, they just stare at us. At me.
“What’s going on?” I ask, really concerned that we are way outnumbered.
“They recognize me. It’s okay. We’ll be okay. Let’s go”, Destine explains, and tells everyone to move.
