"Wow, that's a first. You're ready, and I didn't even have to beg you to wake up!" Mom tells Milo as we all enter his hospital bedroom.
Milo is standing near the big windows, staring at the view, thinking so deeply about something that he didn't even hear us, and was startled by Annie running towards him. Fortunately, he catches her in his arms.
"Good morning mom! Hey guys!" he greets us all with a smile I know it's fake.
