After we finish dinner, grandma tells us to go back to the city. The pack needs their Alpha and dad can’t stay out of reach for so long. So, we say our goodbyes, with a promise to see each other more.
We head back to our car and home. After a moment, dad turns to me and asks about my talk with granddad.
