Esme POV
The light from outside blinded my eyes! I blinked my eyes in order to see. Xavier kisses my cheek as he lets me go. I feel my weight hit me. My body wants to cave, but I fight it. I start take a step towards to podium. With every step I take I feel my knees want to give! My bones feel like glass! Like they want break! I close my eyes to focus on the next step. I open them to see my pack! They are all watching!
“I can’t fall!” My wolf groans inside! Trying to find any strength inside.
I step again! I feel my legs wobble, but I fight it! I feel like the podium is moving further away! I try to step by my legs don't want to move. I suddenly become unsteady. I feel myself stumble some but catch myself! Amelia reaches for me. I put up my hand in order to stop her from grabbing me!
