Episode 3: Marked by Three

I stared at the letter, trying to rack my brain to see if I could get any information, but I didn't think that was possible now. The letter didn't say why I was in trouble. It only said the alpha needed to see me. Well, I didn't know why, but I concluded I was in trouble because I wasn't a member of the pack, and then now I was summoned by an alpha who wasn't supposed to know me. Wasn't that the beginning of everything? I sighed, trying my best to play along, but it seemed like it wasn't working out. Sweat formed on my forehead, and I stood in place, trying to steady my breath. "Maybe you should just go. Don't take this as something bad. Who knows?" The elderly lady tried to assure me with her hands on my shoulder. She stared into my eyes, and then her lip spread into a smile. "But there's also a big possibility. I mean, I have never even seen the alpha. That's something I can't even deny." I exhaled. "I won't lie, I'm worried because I don't know his plans for me." She nodded. "I know. You don't have to tell me. I would be scared if I was in your shoes too, but don't worry about it. I'm here for you, and as always I'll say, think positive. Okay?" I nodded, and she urged me to be in my way in order to not keep the alpha waiting. Once I got to the pack house, I felt my heart drumming. I was stopped at the gate, but luckily for me, once I showed them my letter, they let me in, and one of them was allowed to escort me until I got to where he was seated. Would I call it a meeting room? There were so many chairs, and he was seated in the biggest one at the bottom of the table. "Good morning Alpha Theo," I greeted, bowing my head. My heart drummed and I worried about my mate. I didn't know what I was in for. The elderly lady had already filled me with the necessary information I needed to know about him before I got here. She said he was a nice man, but I shouldn't text his patient if he was angry. She also told me his name. Theo hummed. "Good morning. So you're the one?" He asked, and my lowered head immediately sprung up to meet his gaze. "Huh?" I had no idea what he was talking about, so I pressed my lips together, trying to push away the lungs that formed in my throat. "Yes. You're the one who saved my daughter aren't you?" I remained puzzled. It seemed like fear had eaten up my memory, and I didn't know what else to do about it any more. "Don't be afraid, you're not here to be hurt. I called you because I heard about your heroic act towards my daughter." I was still pondering on who the daughter was when the door pushed open, revealing a familiar place. "Daddy?" She seemed to have noticed her father's face first before she noticed mine. "S-Selina?" I whispered, and then turned back to the Alpha who nodded his head gently. I didn't know this. I didn't know Selina was the alpha's daughter. I just saved her because she needed saving. "Yes, young man. She told me everything about what happened there, and she asked me to reward you." He laughed, gesturing to her to come sit near him. Selina moved ever so gracefully, and as soon as she sat down, she turned to me. "Can I please know your name?" I was struck, but quickly was able to utter it. "T-Tr-Troy." Everything was just feeling out of place. I didn't even know how else to handle it. What to do or what to even say about it. "Troy…" They both hummed at the same time, making them turn to each other. No doubt they were so close because I noticed the father daughter energy between them. I also noticed how the father nodded before turning to me. "As a reward, I have an offer for you." I furrowed my brows. Reward? I didn't need any reward. Anyone would have done the same thing. "Don't take this the wrong way, but there's no--" He didn't even let me finish before saying his statement. "I want to offer you an admission into the Alpha academy." Wave patterns spread across my head, and I swallowed. I didn't even know what alpha academy was. "Here's your admission letter. A lot of people are dying to be here, so I hope I'll see you soon," he explained, sliding the letter through the table. I nodded, picking up the paper before excusing myself from there. It was indeed strange. "Why didn't you say yes?" The elderly woman asked, serving me some soup since I had just returned. "I needed to be sure. Besides, I didn't know what the academy was about." "Being an Alpha. That school is hard to get in, every male wants to be there," she explained, taking a seat after placing the soup in front of me. "Say yes, and go explore." I took her advice to heart, and soon I was in the academy. It wasn't easy, but I had to scale through. I was given a new room with three other roommates who made my life a living hell. "You better not even look or talk to us. You got here by the alphas' favour. Else…" They spent their day taunting me about how I didn't deserve to be here, but instead of responding back, I kept shut. After all, I had heard the rumours. Maverick, Damien, and Julian were the strongest in the academy. I knew better than to exchange words. I was trying to get some rest one night when I sprung up from my bed, sniffing the air. Turns out I wasn't the only one who was actually feeling that way. I looked around, and noticed them sniffing as well. My eyes widened, but I was distracted by my wolf talking. "What's that scent?" My wolf who had been silent whispered, and I turned to look around, noticing it came from the guys who were now staring at me. There was no doubt that we all felt it. The whole room was covered in different scents that were appealing, and before I knew what was happening, we echoed at the same time, “Mate…” "Mate…" I heard my wolf rumble from below, and I immediately shook my head. It was unbelievable. All three of their scents shut through my nostrils. "No, no!" This wasn't supposed to happen. How was this evening possible? So many questions ran through my mind, but I rushed back to bed when I heard their voices. “No, it can't be. We aren't gay…” they was a controversial argument between them, causing them to rest their eyes on me after a few minutes. The gaze was a warning, but I felt chills, and I felt like I was going to die when they came close. “We refuse to believe this feeling!’ Maverick was the one who spoke on their behalf, but that was all. He grabbed my arm, but quickly let go when he felt jolts of electricity. “Look here! No one must know about this. Do you hear me?” I nodded, gently laying down in the bed. That was a close one. I was more worried about my identity than them thinking we were a gay couple. The real question was, "How do I hide my identity when they are my mates?"
