I cling onto Jax’s arm tighter as more wolves step out of the tree line.
‘It’s okay Adyson. I’ve mindlinked the others for help. You can fight Adyson, but try not to because of the baby.’
It is so strange hearing mindlink for the first time.
“I wouldn’t bother alerting the others via mindlink little wolf. They are already busy,” the rogue sneers at Jax and it is making me angry.
I could feel my body getting hot but did not understand why.
“So what are you waiting for?” Jax asks with a smirk of his own.
