Adyson’s Pov
During the car ride to Blue Claw, I can’t help but play the conversation with my parents over in my head. They were not even shocked by the news. My mother cried of course and gave me a huge hug. My father just rubbed my arm sympathetically. I knew they had they’re suspicions and had dropped hints but I still expected them to be surprised.
“Did you already know?” I turn and ask my mother, she’s sitting beside me.
“Yes sweetie,” she says with a smile. She looks down at Arlo-Jax asleep in her arms. “He looks just like Jax as a baby.” She runs a finger across his little chubby cheeks.
She was right of course, I feel like an i***t. My parents and Joey had know the whole time. They’d known I was lying the whole time.
