Adyson’s Pov
I swear my heart literally fell right out of my body and rolled across the floor towards Jax. How is it possible that he is standing before me. My legs move on their own as I meet him halfway and succumb to his embrace. The tingles rush across me as I breathe a sigh of relief. Hot tears sting my eyes as I touch his face. To be sure i feel his face, neck and shoulders, to prove he is real.
He grasps my face and says something about missing me but it’s hard to concentrate as he kisses me. He pulls away too soon and turns his attention to Arlo-Jax. The grin on my face increases as he dotes over our boy. Arlo-Jax laughs at him and my heart swells with pride.
“I cannot believe you are here,” I say with happiness. That happiness soon turns sad though.
