Get In Line

Alex Pov:

I stormer into the cafeteria to see a girl with dark hair laughing hysterically with her friends proudly recalling what she did to my mate, making my blood boil and in a split second all I heard was screaming and someone trying to calm me down when I realised I grabbed the dark hair woman by her troat with my claws sunken into her skin, her warm blood flowing down my arm as she strandling in the air, her eyes wide in terror shaking as my second in charge Alpha Victor tries to pull me away from her. I grit my teeth together trying to regain control and I growled in my Alpha tone "I made it very clear no one will attack rouges or other pack members under my roof do you understand?", "Ye-Yess Alpha of Alphas I'm so sorry I won't do it again please don't kill me" the dark hair woman sobs as she's thrown against the wall her head hitting the wall causing her to collapse as she lost her consciousness. "Victor come with me now" I ordered as we made our way upstairs and I noticed a small frail girl behind him, "who's this, why are you following us?" I enquired already irritated at todays events before we even start to test out these pups to see what they worth. Victor stood Infront of her confidently "This is Ani she is my mate". I didn't want to argue with him I knew by the way his acting towards her defying me already shows they accepted eachother and wolves are not ones who are easily separated after they firs tmeet their mates. "Lola will be testing the pups this week, we need to observe to see for any potential candidates who will pass her tests and proceed for training with her". Victor nod in acknowledgement he understood even if the wolves have joined the Academy of Kora they still have to prove they deserve a spot to train here in their respective fields. We made our way to the benches to watch how Lola will test the pups this year watching, when I caught a faint smell of my mate and saw her on the benches next to Victors mate Ani watching the pups being tested, I want to kill her, I have to but why can't I why do I want to protect her? this stupid mate bond. 

Selene Pov:

As I have exited the bathroom Ani runs to me all excited "I've found him I can't believe it, he didn't reject me you know what that means right?" she screeched causing my ear to ache "I know what it means but we need to watch the recruits at try-outs with Alpha Lola, I can't imagine the type of tests they will be put through it must be horrible" I stated looking down because I was never smart and I've never been to school everything I learned was from watching humans, or Ani teaching me. Ani's father saved me when I was 8 but his Alpha refused to take me into the pack so instead her father negotiated to build me a small tree house to live in, inside rogue lands. Since that day Ani kept coming over to see me against her fathers wished it was to dangerous for her but she didn't want me to feel alone sk I spent most of my time with her near the pack boarders while their patrol watched us play just outside their boarders, she used to bring me food and sweets at first I never touched them because I was afraid I would starve again and I would need it for that day but after a couple months I realised she wasn't going to suddenly leave me and let me starve. Her fst her made us take a blood vow to protect eachother when he noticed how close we where and taught me how to hunt and cook, Ani's father is a pack doctor he taught us so many things, since the fire I lost my ability to smell and a wolf that can't track with their nose is a dead one but luckily I learned a couple tricks and throughout the years he encouraged me to live, not only for Ani but for my parents he always used to say "Your parents loved you so much and would want you to live, don't give up on living". Those words have remained with me through the hashed times and Ani's father felt like a father to me he raised me as best he could. I didn't even concerntrate on Alpha Lolas lesson I was so lost in my own thoughts forgetting how fast time flies.
