Mate?

Selene Pov:

"Why doesn't the rogue show us how it's done?" one of the girls jokingly remarked I remember she was with the dark hair woman who shoved me down the stairs earlier today "why me, can't I get a break?" I cursed under my breath knowing I'm about to be humiliated again and this time my intelligence is their new found focus, Alpha Lola smiled and soflty spoke looking my way "What's your name rogue?", I gulped "Selene" feeling stressed out. Alpha Lola turned to the girl who spoke earlier "I domt remember her saying her name was rogue or is there something wrong with my hearing?". Everyone was shocked Alpha Lola stood up for me but why? "can we get back to work or are we to busy admiring Selene over here?" The wolves started focusing again on their assignments they have been given. I couldn't believe what just happened, Alpha Lola was making her way to me smiling and sat between Ani and I." I suppose the three of us woman should get along we will see more of eachother and I would rather be on the good side of the Lunas" she chuckled "The three of us?" I whispered to myself confused "of course  Alpha Lola smiled brightly don't think I didn't notice our Alpha Victor and our Alphas of Alphas looked at you both that's clearly the mate bond" she started giggling to herself leaning both her arms on our shoulders. "I don't have a mate" I stated clearly confused as why Alpha Lola would think the Alpha of Alphas is my mate and why would he be especially someone of his status. Alpha Lola went quiet thinking to herself and suddenly pulled out two sweets from her pocket " Tell me which one smells like mint and which is Vanilla?". I looked down nervous thinking hard which hand had mint "Left is mint". Alpha Lola smiled at me and gently spoke "makes sense you didn't sense him if you lost your ability to smell" she opened both her hands and to my surprise both sweets where strawberry, Alpha Lola is so smart to figure it out but can the Alpha of Alphas really be my mate? 

Alex Pov:

I noticed Lola is meddling in my affairs already approaching my mate, why did i have to have such a nosey cousin, yes I love my cousin but god she drives me mad she never keeps her nose out of my business. Victor smiled mockingly "I found my mate but I'm to proud to tell me best friend or any of my friends because I have a duty to be miserable" he mocked laughing hard. I looked towards Victor "shut up" I stated embarrassed at how well he knew me. I was about to stand up and leave when I heard Lola say "makes sense you didn't sense him if you lost your ability to smell". I froze, now I understand why my mate never approached me or showed me any recognition its because she simply had no idea I was her mate. I could feel my wolf excited  now that we knew why she acted the way she did towards us, but I couldn't let myself feel this way our enemies will seek her out if they know, I left the Academy of Kora with Victor heading back to the pack house with a sunken feeling in my stomach.
