Alessandro had expected her to launch another attack at him after that and yet all he found was silence and her slight body trembling in his arms , before she went suddenly stiff and let out an ugly blood curdling scream that shook him to his core.
Within the next few seconds everything went berserk. She was howling, doubling over in pain thrashing against his chest and for the life of him he couldn’t understand why.
