“You must be out of your mind!” Grace gasped. “To even think that I would marry you after what happened!” Grace flinched and her fingers tightened around the sides of the bassinet where her daughter now lay asleep. Because Alessandro didn’t looked the least bit offended by her instant rejection. He looked calm and composed, almost as if he already knows how this whole horrible scenario is going to end.
