The intensity in his eyes were like burns on her skin, that penetrated the surface and went deep inside to touch her soul and in the heated silence that stretched between them next, it was hard to control her base instincts...to stop herself from just reaching her hands out and touching him, to caress his cheeks -to comfort the man who had gone through so much on his own.
