CHAPTER 33
Anna boarded the airbus to New York that afternoon, with a silent promise to herself that she was going to do her damnest best to forget him and to move on, and this was the first correct step in that direction.
There were two other models with her, who had been signed for the same shoot and it was quite a bitter sweet moment to watch as the girls hugged and kissed their respective boyfriends goodbye at the airport.
For a second, Anna had to avert her eyes from them, just to stop the irrevocable pain that threatened to burst forth. Seriously, what kind of a pathetic creature was she? She asked herself over and over again as the plane took off and then pretended to sleep for the rest of the journey, when her companion’s topic of discussion moved to their personal lives.
