"Actually," I say to the prospect, who I keep forgetting to ask his name and I really should so I don't have to keep referring to him as the prospect. "Can you take me back to the club?"
"Oh, uh, I'm not sure Thor said to take you right to your apartment."
"I know, but I want to make sure he's okay."
"I'm sure he is."
"Well I'd like to see that for myself."
"You could just wait for him to come to your place."
"Listen, I am your club's attorney and not only to I want to make sure Luke is okay, I want to make sure he doesn't need my help with anything. So turn this car around now, and head to the club." I use my authoritative lawyer voice, which thankfully has him stopping the car. I get that he's a prospect and just wants to impress these guys and do what they say. But I'll be d.amned
