"You have to relax," I lean over and tell James.
"I am relaxed," he says looking a bit confused.
"You look like you're about to beat someone to d.eath," I tell him.
"That's just my face, but the fact that I'm even here is p.issing me off."
"Well, they really haven't produced anything solid. It's all been circumstantial so far."
"Counsel, you can call your next witness," the Judge tells the DA. I'm assuming that his next witness will be the detective that was on the witness list since she hasn't been called yet. Sure enough, the DA opens his mouth and calls Detective Ruiz from Homicide.
"Detective, can you please describe to us what you observed when you were called to the scene on the night in question?"
"Yes, I arrived on scene at the motel."
"And can you share the name of the
