Prologue : A Dawn of a new era taking place in the dead of night ●|● •♤• ●|● With the complexities of time and the unpredictable nature of the universe, the princess realised that she did not know how to wield the power she now had in her slender hands. With only her thoughts as her companion, the princess wandered and wandered through the darkest terrains in search of the one to finally speak to her since the night had since fallen quiet and abandoned her. Through her journeys and the transformation that each atmosphere made her body go through; the princess finally understood that there were no answers and that with the never ending stretch of time came an infinite number of unknowns and the unfathomables. •■•♤•♤• All the destinies the night had told her of did not sound like her own, but the princess was ever heading towards her inevitable fate. Once she was no longer bound to night or day, she realised that there were many ripples in the fabric of time and of all those crevices that existed in different realms; she was at the centre. The princess realised that she held that very fabric at its helms. ●|●♤ ■•♤• •♤• The witch Arkyva returned from her meeting with the Order and the Elysium queen was already awaiting her arrival very impatiently. The queen retained her words and watched quietly as the witch spun a ball of energy with her hands and slowly it turned into a translucent matter until it was a peculiarly shaped mirror that did not show her reflection but of something strange she had never seen. "What is that?" The queen was intrigued enough to rise to her and approach the mirror to get a closer look. "What world is this?" Everything displayed on the mirror was strange, it looked like a city from another realm. The streets were nothing like their own but that attention to detail she should have focused on something else. "It is but that is not where your interest should be, look closely." The witch pointed to a young woman who looked rather distressed and miserable and most definitely unhinged. "That is the girl, we have her and we will have princess Venia soon. She will have no other option but to return to her kingdom and once she returns she will sit on the throne and we'll discard her soul into the locks and Derchuen will be yours. With that much power, you will easily squash those Beast kings." The elysium queen smiled wickedly, a surge of happiness bringing a tint of colour to her pale face. "The girl, where does she fit in with this plan?" "Her body is a vessel, you know of her curse. She will carry out the execution and seeing as she is from a different time in a different world, then she will never be caught for the murder." The witch Arkyva explained while intently watching the girl. By the fall of night the plan will be complete. ●♤●• ●♤●• Seeing stars in her eyes, Quinn madly launched herself onto on coming traffic and began running, miraculously dodging multiple cars until she had crossed to the other side of the street. The cars beeped at her and their angry owners shouted at her and asked her if she was insane or had snorted up some hard stuff. One of them even looked to be calling the police but Quinn really could not concern herself with that right now. Her head was burning. Her mind was on fire. It was so maddening that she collapsed onto the pavement and began screaming and kicking. Multiple on- lookers were very concerned about her but were also scared enough not to go near her enough to find out whaf is happening with her. It appeared that the poor girl was going through a very ruthless psychotic episode. An elderly woman rushed into a small cafe and asked anyone within three feet of her if they were a doctor or knew a doctor. There were no doctors on site but there were kind civilians willling to risk their lives to save the strange girl. The elderly woman led them to the corner where Quinn had huddled herself into and for a moment she appeared to be fine and to have sobered up from the fit; until she suddenly smacked her palms into her temples and expelled a shrill, guttural scream that scared away two of the five that had came with the elderly woman. "What's wrong dear? What's the matter?" The eldery woman bent over her frail back as quickly as she could, moving her body as though she was twenty years younger in order to comfort the girl. "I think you should call an ambulance, Melissa." "I left my phone inside, I'll be back right now." The mentioned woman was petite and unfit, she was certainly frightened of the girl and she suspected that she was possessed by a demon like the girl in the movie she had watched the previous night but she still went by her motherly instinct to help a girl in distress. Melissa ran back into the cafe and dialed the ambulance number, sincerely hoping that the situation will not worsen in her absence. "Hello? Please, there is a girl screaming and kicking her legs and acting hysterically. I think it might be a mental health problem or maybe she took something but I am scared that she is going to hurt herself and-" Melissa's report was interrupted by a rather eery sounding voice that did not sound to be the kind to come out of an employee of emergency helpline centres. "Then it'd be best you leave her alone, you don't want her to take you down with her, do you?" The stoic, witchy sounding voice had the pudgy woman confused. "I don't understand, she needs help-" yet again she was interrupted but that was the last time anyone would ever interrupt her. "Laave her alone. Tell the others to step away from her before they contaminate her energy. The girl just has to stop fighting and accept her fate." Back near the alley Quinn had scared off the remaining people as well as the elderly woman by showing them her irises splitting and taking a different colour. The pain had now traveled down to her stomach and the banging, throbbing pain in her head had now gotten to an unbearable point. That is what made her realise that she had to negotiate.
