While Princess Venia continuously headed towards her doom, King Ian sat on his throne, highly disturbed and perturbed by the future that he could already see happening upon his kingdom and especially upon his rule. Everything was threatening the throne.
He knew very well that his time was limited on the throne and there was absolutely nothing he could do now that he had allowed Venia to escape. How had his own daughter foiled his plan?
