The night trembled with chaos.
Darkness spread through the city like a living, breathing force, corrupting everything it touched. The streets below were filled with panicked screams, warriors shifting into their wolves, ready to fight against an enemy unlike any we had ever faced.
The Forgotten One loomed above us, his massive shadowy form blotting out the moonlight. His hollow, burning eyes locked onto me, and I felt a pull deep inside my soul a voice whispering my name in a way that made my blood turn to ice.
"You are mine, Reina."
Kyle’s growl shook the entire palace. His golden aura exploded, illuminating the sky like the sun itself. “Over my dead body.”
