Reina’s POV The air in the Chamber of Prophecies was thick with a magic so old, that it felt as if time itself had stopped in this sacred space. My breathing was still unsteady as Kyle held me close, his grip firm, grounding me. The visions still flashed in my mind the ancient enemy, the rising darkness, the chilling voice that promised my end. I clutched the leather-bound book against my chest.
