The battlefield was eerily quiet.
The Forgotten King was gone, his darkness erased from this world. His power, his curse, his reign of terror all of it had been swallowed by the abyss.
Yet, as I stood amidst the wreckage of war, something in my soul told me this wasn’t the end.
The war may have been won, but peace was still a distant dream.
